Why this matters

Ahrefs tracks who links to your store and which keywords competitors rank for. It's optional: ZYLX works well without it, and the API requires Ahrefs' Enterprise plan. On cheaper plans, you can export CSVs from Ahrefs and upload them to ZYLX instead.

    Option A — API (Enterprise plan only)

    • In Ahrefs go to Account settings → API keys → 'Generate new key'.
    • Copy the key into ZYLX → Integrations → Ahrefs → Save → Test.

    Option B — CSV exports (any plan, free workflow)

    • In Ahrefs, open Site Explorer for your domain.
    • Export 'Organic keywords' and 'Backlinks' as CSV (Export button, top right of each report).
    • Keep these files — your ZYLX workspace's reports/inputs area accepts them during audits, and Claude can analyze them directly when connected.
    No Ahrefs at all? Skip this. Search Console gives you the highest-value data for free.

Troubleshooting

  • Test fails with 403

    The v3 API is Enterprise-only. Use the CSV workflow instead — it covers the audits ZYLX runs.
